THIS IS A DIGITAL PDF RESOURCE

A specialised Multi - Resource Set - Social Story with Visuals depicting different aspects of personal use of a clean Sanitary Pad - Schedules showing steps in using a clean Sanitary Pad and Communication Cards set showing the steps involved in using a clean Sanitary pad.

As an Autism & Visual Support Specialist, this resource was first designed for my son, who is non-speaking and Autistic. It has purposefully been designed to be clear and visual as to the information being depicted and presented in graphical and word format.

For more specialised Autistic Designed resources for Autistic Students, please follow as I will update my store regularly with Puberty-related resources.

The social story is created in a page-by-page format, so you may include or exclude pages as you see fit and place them in whichever order you prefer. You can have or exclude pages as you see fit and put them in the order that suits your intended goal.

Use a laminator to ensure the longevity of use.

Sit down with your child at a time they are relaxed and engaged. Read through the story and encourage any questions they may have. For students who may not be able to read, please read the story for them and use the visual icons to help your child/student understand the different issues highlighted.

Ensure you keep your tone calm, relaxed and open to hearing/understanding any worries or anxieties your student/child may have. Use each page as a jumping-off point for other concerns your child may be feeling.
