Print and laminate your days of the week mat and attach hard Velcro to the empty square “Today is”. Attach your Days of the Week Mat to a wall, fridge or table top surface.
Print, cut and laminate the Days of the Week Visual Icons. Attach soft Velcro to the rear of each of the Days of the Week visual icons.
Encourage your student to attach the correct day to their “Days of the Week” Mat each day.
At the top the “Days of the Week” Mat there is a Days of the Week Strip. Each day sing the Days of the Week song with your student and then help them to attach the correct day to their “Days of the Week” Mat. Where possible encourage your student to sing the days for themselves.
