Washing Myself Matching Chart in colours -red-orange-yellow-green-blue-purple-pink-white
Each chart contains 12 images of an individual washing themselves:
-wash face
-wash neck
-wash chest
-wash arms
-wash hands
-wash back
-wash hair
-wash armpits
-wash legs
-wash feet
-wash bottom
-wash private parts (image of a penis and testicles)
For children learning to wash themselves independently it can be helpful to support their learning by identifying different body parts they need to wash in the shower.
This resource can be used a multitude of ways, to name but two-
1.Support your learner to match each of the images on the chart with the corresponding images that accompany this resource.
2.Using a dry wash cloth, while sitting at a table /standing take turns picking an image on the Matching Chart and labelling the action and imitating the action.
